Green Gables Country Inn

Green Gables Country Inn is a family-operated establishment nestled in the picturesque village of McGregor, located in the heart of South Africa's Breede Valley wine region, a convenient two-hour drive from Cape Town. The inn's historical buildings, dating back to 1862, are registered monuments that offer guests an authentic country-style hospitality experience.

The property features several accommodation options including two barn conversions, a family unit, and a Manor House room. Barn One provides a queen-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom featuring both a slipper bath and shower. Barn Two accommodates up to three guests with a queen-sized bed and single daybed, offering an en-suite shower. The Family Unit consists of two inter-leading bedrooms, perfect for families, while the Stoep Room in the Manor House provides a queen-sized bed with en-suite shower facilities.

The inn's Manor House veranda, a popular gathering spot for locals and guests alike, offers spectacular views of the village and the Langeberg mountains. The on-site restaurant, Frida's, specializes in tapas-style cuisine using home-grown and locally sourced ingredients.
