Greenfinch Lodge

Greenfinch Lodge is a self-catering bush lodge located in Hammanskraal, Greater Pretoria. It is situated in the Dinokeng Game Reserve, which is home to a range of game, including the big five animals, and is also a paradise for birdwatchers. The lodge is rented out exclusively to one group at a time, providing complete privacy.

The lodge features two main bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as four downstairs bedrooms, each with two single beds and en-suite bathrooms, accommodating a total of 12 people. It is fully equipped, and guests only need to bring their own food and drinks.

Please note that as Greenfinch Lodge is located in a nature reserve, loud music and fireworks are not permitted. Check-in is no later than 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. Parking is allowed only in the designated parking area, and smoking is not allowed in the rooms. Game drives can be booked on-site at a cost of R200 per person.

The Dinokeng Game Reserve has launched the first phase of its public self-drive development called the DGR Wilderness Way Self-Drive. Bookings for this self-drive route can be made at the Information Office or at the entrance gates to the DGR. A once-off conservation fee of R80 per adult and R50 per child is payable upon exiting the reserve.
