Griffons Nest

Griffons Nest is a rustic, self-catering, Cape Dutch house located in Marakele National Park, situated a kilometre from Griffons Bush Camp. It requires a minimum booking of 4 people and a maximum of 8 persons are allowed to stay. It is ideal for 8 persons seeking a tranquil breakaway, with an option of game viewing on-site.

The solar and gas powered house comprises 3 bedrooms in the main house, and a separate room adjacent to the house. The bedrooms are equipped with a double bed and single beds, and the 2 bathrooms feature a shower, basin and toilet in each. The separate room does not have a private bathroom, so guests will need to use the bathrooms in the house. The living area is open-plan, and the kitchen contains all the basic appliances to prepare and cook meals. The dining table is adjacent to the lounge, which contains comfortable seating. The property also features a firepit and a braai area for guests to use.

Self drive or guided walks and game drives can be arranged, as there are Big 5 animals around, and care should be taken. For large groups, Griffons Nest can be booked in conjunction with Griffons Bush Camp.
