Grootfontein Farm House

Grootfontein Farm House is a historic Victorian property located 7.6 kilometers from the N1 highway and 12 kilometers south of Beaufort-West, adjacent to the Karoo National Park. Established circa 1850, the estate takes its name from its proximity to a significant natural spring that once nourished extensive orchards and wheat fields on the surrounding plains.

The main house features two bedrooms, including one with a king-sized bed and another with twin singles, complemented by two bathrooms. A well-equipped kitchen provides all necessary amenities, while the living area includes a built-in braai. The property boasts two covered verandas, with the back veranda featuring outdoor dining facilities and the front providing access to the swimming pool.
