Grootkolk Wilderness Camp is located in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, a picturesque area where vibrant red dunes and rugged scrub seamlessly merge with the horizon. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including gemsbok, springbok, eland, blue wildebeest, black-maned lions, elusive leopards, and resplendent raptors. The camp is situated approximately 20 km from Union's End, where the borders of South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia converge. It can be accessed via a scenic six-hour drive from Twee Rivieren or a 2.5-hour journey from Nossob, and even sedan vehicles can reach this remote camp. The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is located on the South African side of the border, providing an authentic and unforgettable experience of the captivating region.

The rates for staying at Grootkolk Wilderness Camp are dependent on the number of adults and children in the party. The quoted rates include a 1% Community Levy, while daily conservation fees are to be settled directly with the camp upon arrival, contributing to the preservation of the wilderness. Each cabin offers two single beds, and the rates displayed are for two or four guests, subject to the number of guests as well as children staying.
