Grootvadersbosch Farm has a comfortable guest house called Snelsetter, built in 1735. This historic homestead is largely maintained in its original state. The farm offers visitors an opportunity to witness agriculture and nature coexisting. Snelsetter comprises five en-suite rooms with handcrafted yellowwood ceilings and furnishings in the old Cape style. There is a large lounge area with a fireplace and beautiful views of the Langeberg Mountain.
Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes, with tea and coffee facilities available at all times. Breakfast can be served in the dining room, or guests can help themselves. Dinner can be enjoyed with the hosts at the old homestead. The farm features a small splash pool in the garden, which has plenty of shaded areas for relaxation. There are numerous walking trails on the farm and mountain-bike routes.
The rooms at Snelsetter are beautifully appointed with double or single beds and en-suite bathrooms.
