Grootvlei Guest Farm

Grootvlei Guest Farm is a luxury accommodation establishment positioned 6 kilometers from Lambert's Bay on the West Coast, approximately three hours' drive north of Cape Town. The property offers a year-round moderate climate and is known for its comfortable amenities and warm hospitality.

The surrounding area transforms into a spectacular wildflower display from July to early October. Due to successful dune vegetation conservation efforts, the property has seen the return of small game, including duikers and other buck species, which guests may observe during morning walks. The location is prime for birdwatching and offers opportunities to spot marine life such as Heaviside's dolphins, whales, and seals in the Atlantic Ocean.

The establishment features two distinct venues: the "Uppiduin" Venue, offering Atlantic Ocean views and memorable sunsets, and the "Ennituin" Venue, which showcases garden views with water features and wildlife. Additionally, there are 11 basic structures called "Voulnessies," which provide minimal accommodations with shared communal facilities.

The main guest house comprises seven well-appointed bedrooms, each featuring en suite bathrooms with shower facilities, MNet, satellite TV, and tea/coffee-making amenities. The property includes multiple private verandas, a communal dining room, a furnished lounge extending to a large courtyard, a fully stocked bar, and a covered braai or conference room. The establishment maintains an age restriction policy, not accommodating children under 12 years old.
