Grootvlei Guest Farm

Grootvlei Guest Farm is a luxury accommodation situated approximately 6 km from the fishing village of Lambert's Bay on the West Coast. It is located under three hours drive from Cape Town in a northerly direction. The guest farm offers an oasis of comfort, warm hospitality, and a moderate climate throughout the year.

During the flower season from July to early October, the area surrounding Grootvlei Guest Farm is covered with a tapestry of wild flowers. The conservation efforts of the dune vegetation have led to the return of small game, and guests may spot duikers or other bucks during early morning walks. The location is also ideal for birdwatching, with a large variety of bird species present. Additionally, visitors may catch glimpses of Heaviside's dolphins, whales, and seals frolicking in the nearby Atlantic Ocean.

The guest farm provides two venue options: the "u221au00f1ppiduin" Venue, which offers beautiful sea views and unique sunsets across the Atlantic Ocean, and the "u221au00e8nnituin" Venue, featuring a lovely garden view with water features and the chirping of wild birds. The accommodation also includes 11 basic structures called "Vou221au00b4lnessies," which are equipped with only a bed and a small standing area for hanging clothes. These basic units share a separate communal area with showers, toilets, a braai, and a kitchen.
