Gunyatoo Trout Farm & Guest Lodge

Gunyatoo Trout Farm & Guest Lodge is a charming fly-fishing, birding, and nature retreat situated in the picturesque and malaria-free Rhenosterhoek valley, located just off the Long Tom Pass between Lydenburg and Sabie, approximately 40 kilometers from Nelspruit. The guest lodge is ideally positioned for easy access to various tourist attractions in Mpumalanga, including the Kruger National Park, Pilgrims Rest, Sudwala Caves, and the Panorama Route.

The thatch and stone lodge offers luxurious yet affordable accommodation, recently refurbished with several suites, all featuring beautiful views of the surrounding pine forests. The rooms are en-suite and have their own private patios, perfect for enjoying early morning beverages. For those requiring self-catering facilities, a fully equipped four-sleeper family cottage is available. The farm is a fully operational trout farm, comprising a processing area, hatchery, nursery, raceways, and two stocked dams for fly fishing enthusiasts.
