Hakuna Matata Beach House

The Hakuna Matata Beach House is a log apartment situated within a larger home in the private Nature-on-Sea complex, adjoining Outeniqua Strand. The complex offers a safe environment with the homes located among undisturbed natural fynbos gardens and quiet paved roads used exclusively by residents, ensuring safety for children and pedestrians.

A 40m wooden walkway connects the house directly to the beach. The upper level of the log home is for the owner's exclusive use, while the lower levels are rented out as holiday accommodation. Parking is available for two smaller-sized cars or a car/bakkie and trailer, with no additional parking available within the Nature-on-Sea complex. A stairway provides access to the lower level.

The open-plan living area comprises a lounge, dining area, and a built-in braai. The lounge accommodates seating for eight people and features a TV with full DSTV. The fully equipped kitchenette includes a two-plate induction cooktop, a small convection oven, a microwave, and a fridge with a freezer compartment. A laundry area with a washing machine and tumble drier is also available. The living area door opens onto a large wooden deck, offering panoramic views of the sea and Mossel Bay.

On this level, the main bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, accommodating up to five persons. The main bedroom also offers distant ocean views, and all bedrooms are equipped with cupboards. There are two bathrooms: one with a shower and the other with a bath, both containing a hand wash basin and toilet.

An external stairway leads down to the lower level outbuilding, where there is a room suitable for teenagers or younger persons, with two single beds and a bunk bed, accommodating up to four persons. The window in this area provides a view of the Milkwood trees and the distant ocean. This separate area from the upper flat has its own toilet and outdoor shower.

The hosts at Hakuna Matata Beach House are available to assist with arranging activities, including game drives on the farm. Please note that no pets are allowed.
