Hakuna Matata Game Farm

Hakuna Matata Game Farm offers self-catering accommodation suitable for couples or families seeking a tranquil retreat in a farm environment. The farm features three self-catering cottages located approximately 20 km from the ocean. Two cottages can accommodate four guests, while the third can accommodate six guests. All cottages are fully equipped for self-catering, and bedding and towels are provided. Each cottage has a deck area overlooking a waterhole.

Shared facilities include a covered braai area and private braai areas for each cottage. The cottages do not have televisions or radios to ensure a peaceful break, and cellphone reception is limited. Free WiFi is available. The game farm offers various activities for guests to enjoy, including game drives (advance reservation required) and bass fishing at the main house dam. Pets are not allowed on the premises.

The farm offers a private "farmer's game drive" that allows guests to view the animals up close. The farm environment is safe for walking, running, and cycling. The cottage decks overlook a dam where animals often come to drink water, and the area is rich in birdlife. The cottages are freestanding or have private entrances, providing a peaceful environment with a braai area, limited cellphone reception, and no television, fostering quality family time. Guests can watch the sunset over the dam where animals drink.

The cottages provide a restful environment for parents, and the absence of internet and television encourages family bonding time. Additionally, Hakuna Matata has a Beach House Apartment located 40 meters from the beach in the Nature-on-Sea, Glentana security complex. The apartment features a private boardwalk leading to the beach, a private deck with sea views, an open-plan lounge, an indoor braai, a kitchenette, two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bath), and a separate room for teenagers. An outdoor shower is also available.
