Halcyon Game Lodge

Halcyon Game Lodge is situated at the most northern tip of South Africa in the heart of the Limpopo Province, being two hours' drive from Polokwane. The lodge is also located approximately 20 minutes away from Mapungubwe National Park, one of South Africa's World Heritage Sites.

Halcyon Game Lodge is a rustic luxury self-catering tented camp located on top of a sandstone ridge in the mopani bushveld north of the Soutpansberg. It is considered a perfect weekend getaway or overnight stop. The camp can comfortably accommodate ten people, with the possibility of hosting two additional guests upon request. All rooms have their own private bathrooms and are serviced on a daily basis, with linen and towels provided in each room.

The camp features two bomas, each equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, fridge, freezer, braai facility, fireplace, and a plunge pool. The plunge pools can be filled upon request, offering a great opportunity to spend hot afternoons sipping on cold drinks while relaxing in the pool. The kitchens are equipped with reverse osmosis water systems, providing drinking water. The lodge also offers DStv and Wi-Fi facilities.

The lodge features an ultimate sundowner spot known as "The Office," which is a sandstone table and latte chairs situated on the rocks, creating the perfect setting to view wildlife and enjoy some of the most gorgeous sunsets.

One of the tents is located in a private area adjoining boma area 1. This tent features a queen-size bed, a dressing room, and a private separate bathroom. The tent is also equipped with air-conditioning, a TV, private deck, and Wi-Fi. The bathroom is separate from the tent and includes a shower, toilet, and basin.
