Happy Home Imhoffs Gift

Happy Home is situated in the quiet neighborhood of Imhoff's Gift, offering guests a choice of self-catering accommodation. Imhoff's Gift is part of Kommetjie, a quaint seaside village on the southern peninsula of the Cape. The property has three rooms and a Garden cottage available for groups or families.

Room 1, referred to as The Protea Suite, is the best room located on the first floor of the main house. It is a large room with a full en-suite bathroom and dressing room, opening onto a balcony with views of the fresh water lake, the Noordhoek Wetlands, the Atlantic Ocean, and the backdrop of Chapmans Peak, which is part of the Table Mountain range. The room offers a bar fridge and tea and coffee facilities.

Room 2, called The Cherry Blossom Suite, is a large and comfortable carpeted room situated on the ground floor, opening up onto the pool and entertainment area. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath only, a comfortable seating area overlooking the pool and garden, and provides guests with a bar fridge and coffee and tea facilities.

Room 3, known as The Fynbos Standard Room, is a smaller room suitable for travelers on a budget. It offers a double bed, tea and coffee facilities, and a bar fridge. Although smaller, guests have access to the entire house and can enjoy the pool or have a sundowner on the sundeck.

The Garden Cottage is a separate house offering three bedrooms in a more private setting. It has a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, lounge area, and plenty of outside space for a braai or family activities. The cottage has ample parking space, its own entrance from the street, a shared bathroom with a bath and shower, and a guest toilet. It is ideal for a family vacation or a group of friends or family.

Both properties have internet access, and guests can pre-book the lovely breakfast offered at the property. The private estate of Imhoff's Gift is very security-conscious, making it an extremely safe neighborhood. It also enjoys a low tolerance for noise, effectively operating on a quiet time from 10 pm to 7 am. The property is fortunate to enjoy a variety of wildlife, with the bird life being the most precious gift, including fish eagles and other interesting bird species.
