Harmonie Farm Cottage

Harmonie Farm Cottages are situated on the farm Rumali in the Keisie Valley, approximately 17 kilometers outside of Montagu. The cottages offer a peaceful and tranquil environment on a scenic wine and olive farm. There are three self-catering cottages available: Protea Farm Cottage (previously known as Harmonie Farm Cottage), Olyfzicht Barn Cottage, and Fijnbos Barn Cottage. These cottages are designed to provide luxury, comfort, fully equipped kitchens (with dishwashers), and stunning views.

Guests can expect a quiet getaway, abundant birdlife, and ample space for walking, running, and jogging with their family and dogs. Protea Farm Cottage features two bedrooms, two single beds, one double bed, and each room has its own bathroom. The cottage has a large veranda with an enclosed garden where children and dogs can play. Protea Farm Cottage is dog-friendly, and it accommodates four guests, with an additional charge of R250 per person per night for the third and fourth guests. Linen and towels are provided, and the beds are fitted with electric blankets during the winter. There is a fireplace in the living area and a built-in braai on the veranda.

Fijnbos and Olyfzicht Barn Cottages are ideal for a romantic getaway, but they are not dog-friendly. The kitchens in these cottages are fully equipped, and each cottage has a braai overlooking the farm dam and mountains. Guests can expect to be woken by the sounds of birds in the morning. These cottages offer excellent accommodation in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Western Cape, with magnificent views from all rooms. They are perfect for those seeking a private and peaceful retreat without sacrificing comfort and luxury.

The farm is also ideal for tourists who want to explore nearby areas like Ceres, Worcester, Robertson, Barrydale, and Swellendam, which are close enough for day trips. The farm has its own mountains where guests can go for walks. Additionally, the famous Montagu Tractor trips are located 6 kilometers away, and the Montagu Hot Springs are 15 kilometers from the cottages.

The lovely cottage on a working farm is ideal for families with children, as they can walk, run, and ride their bicycles. There are walking trails right at their doorstep. The unique and exclusive Fijnbos Barn Cottage is built in a 200-year-old barn. It offers a one-bedroom with a four-poster bed and an open-plan en-suite bathroom overlooking the dam and mountains. The cottage also features a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, making it an ideal choice for a romantic getaway.
