Hartfell Farm is a scenic property nestled among rolling hills, forests, and grasslands in close proximity to Dullstroom, Mpumalanga. The estate is bisected by Kruisfontein Road, featuring grasslands in the upper section and a developed forested area in the lower portion, creating a distinctive atmosphere unique to the region.

The property boasts three well-stocked trout dams for fly-fishing enthusiasts and offers various walking trails, including a notable 30-meter waterfall route and riverside paths along indigenous forest. The Kruisfontein Road serves as a popular route for mountain bikers and joggers, hosting occasional mountain bike races while maintaining low traffic volumes.

The farm's diverse ecosystem supports a rich variety of fauna and flora, including nocturnal wildlife, numerous bird species, and several red data plant species. A local nature expert named Piet is available to provide insights into the area's wildlife and vegetation. Accommodation comprises three distinct, fully furnished self-catering cottages, each positioned separately among mature oak and blackwood trees for optimal privacy. The cottages feature private entrances, en-suite bathrooms, and sleeper couches in each bedroom, with all rooms connected to central living areas via wooden decks. The facility can accommodate eight guests comfortably, with potential for eight additional guests using sleeper couches. All cottages are serviced, supplied with firewood, and securely fenced to accommodate pets.
