The cottages are surrounded by roses and lawns, and guests are welcome to wander through the nursery, which is open to the public.

The self-catering cottages have two large bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with twin beds), each with an en-suite bathroom and separate toilet. They also include a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining room, TV (local channels), covered patio, braai area, covered parking, and daily servicing.

The bed & breakfast units offer either queen or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms (with showers), bar fridges, tea and coffee facilities, separate entrances from an enclosed courtyard, and secure parking. Breakfast is served in the main house, either in the dining room or on the veranda.

Being situated on the border of the Cradle of Humankind, there are numerous activities and sites to visit in the vicinity, such as Sterkfontein Caves, Maropeng, The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve (including the Wonder Caves), The Lion Park, Gilroys Country Brewery, and Ngwenya Glass Village. Other activities include horse riding, hot air ballooning, game drives, and wellness centers and spas. There is a wide range of dining options, from top-class restaurants to casual bistros.
