Harvil House

The Harvil House Lifestyle Centre and Accommodation is a building located in George, South Africa. The design of the building aims to evoke a sense of curiosity, hope, and grace by incorporating elements that flow with the healing gestures of nature. The walls are intended to capture future stories told within the building.

The building's narrative gravitates towards hues reminiscent of nature and creativity, conveying an authentic, raw, yet modern design aesthetic. George, the city where the Harvil House is situated, is known for its golf courses, the George Museum, which showcases exhibits on the local timber industry, the Outeniqua Transport Museum featuring steam trains and vintage cars, and the Garden Route Botanical Garden with its trails and local fynbos plants.

The Harvil House offers self-contained units equipped with showers. One of the units includes a king-size bed and two single beds, making it suitable for family accommodation or a romantic getaway. Each unit has a balcony and a fully-equipped kitchen.
