Hawklee Country House is a leading country guest house situated on 5 hectares of pristine Midlands scenery, along the banks of the Lions River at Fort Nottingham, located 13 km outside of Nottingham Road. The accommodation comprises six spacious, freestanding thatched cottages, offering self-catering or room-only options with the possibility of breakfast and dinner on request. The cottages feature en-suite bathrooms, with some having private spa baths and showers. Amenities include electric blankets, goose down duvets, and heaters for chilly evenings. The Cottage is a thatched, standalone two-sleeper cottage with a queen bed. Despite its small size, it features a lovely deck with a river view. The cottage is surrounded by bush, attracting various bird species, making it popular among birdwatchers. It includes a kitchenette with a microwave, toaster, and kettle, as well as a spa bath and an en-suite shower inside the main room. The cottage has a seating area with chairs, and the beige curtains complement the duck egg blue accessories. Amenities include a fridge, complimentary hospitality tray, soaps, hotel bouquet DSTV with a flat screen, wall heaters, hairdryer, goose down duvets, and electric blankets.
