Henk Van Rooyen Park

Henk Van Rooyen Park is a family resort located in Marloth Park, Mpumalanga, South Africa. The resort is situated within a wildlife sanctuary that forms part of the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park, offering spectacular game viewing opportunities along the Crocodile River.

The accommodation comprises five chalets, three rondavels, and seventeen caravan stands. The chalets are air-conditioned and can accommodate between four to five guests, featuring main bedrooms with double beds and additional rooms with single and bunk bed configurations. Each chalet is fully furnished with cutlery, crockery, towels, and includes a full bathroom and private braai area.

The traditional African rondavels, circular dwellings with conical thatched roofs, each accommodate four people with a double bed and two singles. They are fully furnished and include shower facilities, with access to a communal cooking area and boma braai facilities.

The caravan stands are situated along the riverbank, with some overlooking the Kruger National Park. Each stand is roofed and paved, featuring private braai areas, power points, and water connections. The resort provides shared ablution blocks and washing facilities that are serviced daily.

Resort amenities include a swimming pool, children's playground, jungle gyms, volleyball court, tennis court, and a kiosk selling refreshments and snacks. The location offers unique wildlife experiences as Marloth Park prohibits property fencing, allowing various animals, including the Big 5, to roam freely through the area.

Additional activities available in the vicinity include game drives, quad biking, super tubes, put-put, hiking trails, and easy access to Kruger National Park, Mozambique, and Swaziland borders. The resort's proximity to Komatipoort makes it an ideal base for exploring the region's attractions.
