Heritage Guest House

The Heritage Guest House is a converted building that was previously a small hotel constructed in 1852. It is situated on the R72 passing through the village of Alexandria. All rooms, excluding the flat, are located on the upper floor of the building and can be accessed via an easy flight of stairs.

The Heritage Guest House offers guests a choice of nine rooms and a self-catering flat, all of which are non-smoking and comfortably furnished. The rooms are equipped with double or single beds and have views of the town or the guest house garden. Some rooms are en-suite, while others have external private bathrooms opposite the rooms. Each room features a TV with access to local channels or TV with DSTV, as well as heaters, overhead fans, and tea and coffee making facilities.

The comfortable self-catering flat includes a double bedroom and a single bedroom. The bathroom has a large shower stall. The lounge area is equipped with a TV and a dining area, as well as an extra bed. The kitchenette is furnished with a fridge and a microwave, and tea and coffee making facilities are provided.

The Heritage Guest House is renowned for its delicious country-style breakfasts. Safe, off-street parking is available for guests. Visitors can relax in the large, tree-filled garden with abundant bird life, offering an oasis of peace and tranquility. A braai area can be found under one of the lovely trees in the garden.
