Hermitage Huisies is a self-catering accommodation located in the picturesque Hermitage Valley, situated 2 km outside of Swellendam at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains, next to the popular Berry Farms and Marloth Nature Reserve. The area is renowned for its spectacular views, tranquility, and abundant outdoor activities. The Zaayman Family owns and manages the property, offering four self-catering cottages on the farm.

The cottages are comfortably furnished with all the necessary amenities. Each cottage is equipped with an essential braai area. Emphasis is placed on ensuring a good night's rest, with all adult beds outfitted with pocket spring mattresses. Additionally, all cottages are fitted with free Wi-Fi. The River, Rose, and Guinea Fowl cottages feature indoor fireplaces. Well-behaved dogs are permitted on the farm for an additional charge.

Guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool with magnificent mountain views. A wood-fired hot tub is available for hire, requiring a minimum two-night booking at R350 per night, including wood. Advanced booking for the hot tub is essential.

The establishment is implementing responsible measures to ensure the safety of guests during their stay without compromising the enjoyment of their visit. These measures include providing anti-bacterial handwash or hand sanitizers in all cottages, thorough cleaning with anti-bacterial sanitizers, and staff awareness and vigilance.
