Hermitage Huisies is a charming self-catering accommodation situated in the scenic Hermitage Valley, just 2km outside of Swellendam at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains. The property, owned and operated by the Zaayman Family, offers four distinct cottages in an area renowned for its spectacular views, tranquility, and proximity to berry farms.

Each cottage is thoughtfully furnished with modern amenities, including unlimited Wi-Fi, quality pocket spring mattresses, and outdoor braai (barbecue) areas. Three of the cottages - Rose, Guinea Fowl, and River Cottage - feature indoor fireplaces. The property offers a salt water swimming pool and wood-fired hot tubs available for private hire.

The accommodations include Rose Cottage, a century-old farmhouse that sleeps up to five people with two bedrooms and overlooks green fields and mountains. River Cottage provides a more secluded setting with a trickling stream and avocado tree, ideal for two adults with or without children. Guinea Fowl is a studio flat perfect for couples, while Aardvarks Burrow can accommodate up to four people with its queen and two single beds.

The property is pet-friendly, accepting well-behaved dogs for an additional fee, though none of the cottages are fully enclosed. Guests receive complimentary firewood, homemade rusks, and coffee. Entertainment amenities include TVs in Rose Cottage, Guinea Fowl, and Aardvarks Burrow.
