Heuglins Lodge

Heuglins Lodge, located on Winmarleigh Farm just outside White River in Mpumalanga, is a small, boutique-style guesthouse that offers a perfect bed and breakfast getaway. It is situated close to many amenities and exudes a country atmosphere within a secure, peaceful, well-wooded area with abundant bird life.

The historic main homestead, built in 1920 from unbaked brick, was one of the original farmhouses in the White River area. The recently completed dining room, lounge, and bar have been designed to reflect the ambiance of the main dwelling, providing guests with a home-from-home feeling as they drive through the gates.

The lodge is renowned for its warm hospitality, where guests are welcomed like long-lost friends, and many become friends due to their frequent returns. Heuglins Lodge is conveniently located approximately 5 minutes from the town of White River and about 20 minutes from Nelspruit, the capital of Mpumalanga. It is in close proximity to numerous facilities and activities in the Nelspruit White River area.

Each room at the lodge offers a large, luxurious bedroom and sitting area with underfloor heating, a spacious bathroom with a shower and bath, and a private patio.
