Highlands Eco Estate

Highlands Eco Estate is situated atop the picturesque Piket-Bo-Berg in the Western Cape, surrounded by other fruit farms. The stately, log manor is set within 55 hectares of unspoiled farmland, offering unrivalled natural beauty, an array of indigenous flora and fauna, panoramic mountain views, and a multitude of sunset vantage points. It is located just 90 minutes from Cape Town, providing a remote yet accessible escape from busy city life.

The Cellar Rooms are equipped with two three-quarter beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin. The rooms boast beautiful views of the valley and are furnished with coffee and tea-making facilities, a bar fridge, a TV with selected DStv channels, and a seating area.

The Pilot room is smaller but also features two three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. Like the Cellar Rooms, it is equipped with coffee and tea-making facilities, a bar fridge, a TV with selected DStv channels, and a seating area.

The Lodge Room is located on the first floor of the lodge and comprises a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a spa bath, shower, toilet, and basin. It also features a fireplace for colder winter months and offers a beautiful view.

The luxury cottage is situated further from the lodge and has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower, toilet, basin, and a lounge area. It also has various private outdoor areas with a Jacuzzi.

The small farming town of Piketberg lies at the foot of the Piketberg Mountain range, surrounded by fields of wheat that change color with the seasons, vineyards, fruit farms, and beautiful examples of indigenous fynbos. Highlands Eco Estate provides nature lovers with magnificent hiking trails, mountain biking, bird watching, and more. It is a working farm with blueberry production.
