Hills and Dales Accommodation is a distinctive country retreat situated on 23 hectares of rolling countryside within the tourism supply zone of the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. Located adjacent to Lanseria Airport, the property offers a peaceful escape just 40 minutes from Johannesburg and Sandton.

The establishment features nine self-catering units, each with unique characteristics and amenities. These include the Guinea Fowl Rooms, which comprise four double rooms; the riverside Dabchick unit with its bay window vista; the spacious Fish Eagle Lodge with two en-suite bedrooms; the cozy Swallow unit; the Starling two-bedroom apartment with river views; and the family-friendly Hadeda unit. All accommodations come equipped with braai facilities and modern amenities including WiFi and DSTV.

The venue offers comprehensive facilities including three swimming pools, beautiful gardens with rolling lawns, and scenic river views. The property boasts two event venues - Jabulani and Hlala Lapha - suitable for conferences, celebrations, and corporate events. A solar system ensures continuous power supply for essential services during load shedding.

Activities available on-site include bush paintball (for groups of eight or more), walking trails, and bird watching, with the property home to abundant birdlife. The location within the Cradle of Humankind tourism zone provides easy access to historical, cultural, and recreational activities.

The establishment maintains professional services with daily unit servicing (except Sundays and public holidays), reception availability from 07:00 to 16:00, and laundry services on weekdays. Catering services are available with advance booking, though the venue does not operate as a restaurant or hotel kitchen. Viewing is by appointment only, Tuesday to Friday between 09:00 and 16:00 and Saturday between 08:00 and 11:00.
