Hippo Hills

Hippo Hills is a luxurious thatched-roof house located on the scenic banks of the Crocodile River, overlooking the Kruger National Park. It can accommodate up to 10 guests in five en-suite bedrooms. Three large bedrooms are upstairs, one with a double bed and the other two with twin beds. These bedrooms lead to a large viewing deck and bar area, where visitors can enjoy a sunset drink while observing various bird and animal life.

Downstairs, there are two more bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, and en-suite bathrooms, offering lovely views of the Crocodile River. The double-storey house features an open-plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge area with a satellite television and PVR.

Guests have the option to cater for themselves using the fully serviced kitchen and outdoor braai, or dine at the u00e0 la carte restaurant, which offers a wide selection of fine African cuisine. Activities available include game drives in the Kruger National Park, guided walks with wild animals, stargazing in the African sky, open-air dining, and bird watching. Hippo Hills is located within the fences of the Kruger National Park, and visitors have reportedly seen all of the Big 5 while lounging in the private swimming pool. The property also sits on a riverbed, where the bird life is magnificent. A beauty spa is available on-site for guests' relaxation and pampering needs.
