Hlosi Game Lodge

Hlosi Game Lodge is a distinguished 4-star establishment located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve in South Africa's Eastern Cape. The lodge, positioned in a malaria-free zone near Port Elizabeth, offers an intimate safari experience with 14 accommodations consisting of six suites and eight luxury tents arranged along a hillside overlooking a river plain.

The accommodation options include four double suites, two family suites, four luxury tents, and four family tents. Each unit features modern amenities including air conditioning, underfloor heating, private decks, and en-suite bathrooms with spa baths. The family suites are equipped with two bedrooms, a central lounge, kitchenette, and outdoor deck, making them ideal for groups traveling with children.

The main lodge features a central rondavel with double-sided fireplaces, an elegant lounge, dining areas, and a bar that overlooks both the swimming pool and a waterhole. A separate boma area adjoins the main lodge, where traditional bush braais and special events are hosted under the stars.

The reserve spans 7,500 hectares and is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard) as well as cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and numerous antelope species. Professional rangers guide visitors on both day and night game drives, ensuring memorable wildlife encounters. The lodge maintains a strong focus on conservation, implementing anti-poaching measures throughout the reserve.
