The property, known as 'Home By The Beach,' is a four-bedroom self-catering home located in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. It can accommodate up to eight guests, with three rooms featuring double beds and one room with twin beds. The house features an elevated position just 5 kilometers east of Plettenberg Bay, offering uninterrupted sea views from its proximity to the Indian Ocean and the pristine beaches of Keurboomstrand.

The cleverly designed house takes maximum advantage of its stunning location and year-round sunshine. The ground floor features an open-plan design with a large lounge, kitchen, and entrance hallway area, as well as a second TV lounge or snug with a separate shower room. The kitchen is complemented by a separate scullery, and there is a double garage accessible from the hallway. The spacious ground floor living area opens up to a secluded and private courtyard to the north and a huge deck and swimming pool area on the beach side. Additionally, the house includes a trademark external lounge area complete with an open, wood-burning fireplace.

On the first floor, there are four beautifully appointed bedrooms. The large master bedroom offers stunning ocean views and features a king-size bed, floor-to-ceiling fold-back doors, and a balcony. It also has a stylish en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, double-sink vanity unit, and a dressing area with ample wardrobe and storage space. Two additional double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms and a shared verandah, also enjoy spectacular sea views. There is an additional twin bedroom with an en-suite shower that overlooks the indigenous forest. The house also features a comfortable first-floor sun lounge with frameless fold-back glass doors that offer superb views down and across the expansive beach area.

Further up, there is a large sun deck and entertaining area where guests can escape and enjoy views across the whole of Plettenberg Bay, providing an ideal spot to watch dolphins and whales, enjoy sundowners, or gaze at the African stars at night. The property includes amenities such as a solar-powered hot water system, underfloor heating, two LCD TVs with DStv, an iPod dock and portable speaker, a courtyard and braai area, a double garage, and an observation deck.
