Honeywood is a secluded spot located on the South Coast of Natal, approximately 6 km north of Port Shepstone. It offers quiet comfort in a coastal forest setting, with the accommodation chalets situated in a peaceful forest garden, only 700 meters away from the beach. The chalets feature a relaxed garden style decor, and the lapa adds to the authentic African experience.

The Cellar boutique restaurant at Honeywood provides a fine dining experience that is unforgettable. Chef Dylan Smith's eclectic menu is designed to awaken the taste buds with its unique flavors. The friendly service, excellent food, and ambient setting are said to ensure guests' return visits.

Honeywood offers six self-catering, four-sleeper, two-bedroom en-suite chalets. These double-story chalets feature both downstairs and loft bedrooms with beautiful views of the sloping forest garden. Each chalet is uniquely decorated, and the lounges are furnished with luxury couches. The chalets are fully equipped with amenities such as TV, stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, and other kitchen utensils. They are serviced from Monday to Saturday, except on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.

The chalets face the sloping forest garden, pond, and lapa, attracting a remarkable number of birds, which is of interest to nature lovers. The garden setting provides a haven when the wind is blowing along the beach. Guests can relax on the veranda, indulge in a walk through the lush garden, or take a dip in the pool.

The forest lapa at Honeywood, overlooking a small dam, is suitable for small wedding receptions of up to 80 people or special celebrations. Catering is provided by the on-site restaurant, and the functions coordinator assists in transforming the lapa into a dream venue. The Cellar also serves as the reception and breakfast room, opening onto the paved area around the 8x4m pool, which is available for guest use. Secure off-road parking is provided on the premises, but no animals are allowed.

Chef Dylan personalizes menus for events held at Honeywood, such as conference lunches, wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, or business functions. Intimate garden weddings for up to 60 guests can be hosted, with the reception in The Garden Lapa on-site. The forest glade provides an ideal outdoor setting for ceremonies surrounded by nature. The Honeywood Forest Spa is open daily from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Saturday, with later times and Sunday bookings available upon request.

Honeywood is an idyllic romantic getaway, offering comfortable accommodation, fine food, and plenty of activities in the area. It is located 700m from the beach at Sea Park and 2 km from the Umtentweni swimming beach, with five great golf courses within driving distance. The suite offers a view of the garden, a private balcony, and two bedrooms u2013 a king-size bed downstairs and a twin sleeper loft bedroom upstairs, both en-suite. The suite is equipped for self-catering or bed and breakfast accommodation, with dinner available from Tuesday to Saturday each week.
