Hook Shot Lodge

The Hook Shot Lodge is situated on the secured Silwerstrand Golf and River Estate, offering a view of the ninth hole. It is located within walking distance from the stylish Club House, which features a restaurant, ladies' bar, and pro-shop. The luxurious self-catering lodge is fully equipped to accommodate six guests with three double en-suite bedrooms.

The state-of-the-art kitchen is equipped with a solar dome oven, electric hob and oven, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and a plunger. A wine fridge is available in the living area, along with a dishwasher and washing machine in the scullery. A gas hob is provided on the veranda, and an iron and ironing board are available for laundry purposes.

The covered veranda overlooks the golf course at the ninth hole and offers barbecue facilities and a long dinner table, allowing guests to dine outside during the day or evenings. An inverter is installed to power WiFi, ceiling lights, and TV during load shedding periods, but no additional plugs can be used.

The living room features a wine cooler, DSTV HD Explorer with a full bouquet, and a combustion oven for cold winter nights. Only eco logs, available at R40 per bag, can be used in the combustion oven. Free WiFi is provided throughout the lodge.

The three luxurious double en-suite rooms consist of a main en-suite on the ground level with a king-size bed and two en-suites on the upper level, each with two single beds. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning units. Amenities include Charlotte Rhys shower gel, shampoo, liquid soap, and a hairdryer in every suite. A crib with bedding can be provided for infants aged 0-3 years, who stay for free if not occupying a bed.

The main suite features a bath, shower, toilet, and basin, while Suite two has a shower, toilet, and basin. Suite three is also equipped with an en-suite bathroom. A guest toilet is located below the staircase. Guests have access to the entire house but only the en-suites they have booked. Charges are applied per person per bed per night, with the option of two guests per room. Unbooked rooms are locked.

Parking is available for two vehicles on the plot or in a single garage. The veranda offers barbecue facilities and a long table with a beautiful view of the golf course. Robertson and its surroundings offer various activities, including over 50 wine cellars, award-winning restaurants, wine, bubbly, olive, and cheese tastings, hiking and cycling routes, skydiving, and fly-ins at the Robertson airstrip. Guests can book a round of golf and hire equipment from the pro-shop at the club or hop on the wine-train for a wine tasting experience.

For long weekends with public holidays on a Monday or Friday, a minimum stay of three days is required. From December 15th to January 5th, a minimum stay of five days is mandatory. Guests who book at Silwerstrand Estate must accept and comply with the Estate and House rules as required by Security. Security requires guest and vehicle details of all booked guests prior to arrival. Pets are not permitted, and smoking/vaping is prohibited inside the Hook Shot Lodge. Day visitors are not allowed to visit guests booked in the Lodge per Estate rules, and guests booked in other homes on the Estate may not socialize with those booked in the Lodge.
