Hornbills Rest Country Home

Hornbills Rest Country Home is a private, self-catering accommodation located on the owner's property. It offers a tranquil hideaway on the outskirts of Phalaborwa and is situated 12 kilometers from the Phalaborwa Gate of the Kruger National Park. The property serves as an ideal base for various activities such as game drives, river cruises, and golf.

The home can accommodate up to six guests and consists of three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two three-quarter beds, and the third bedroom has two three-quarter beds as well. The second bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and basin. A baby cot is available upon request.

The fully equipped kitchen is outfitted with a fridge-freezer, stove, microwave, oven, cutlery, and crockery. There is also a breakfast table with chairs, as well as a separate scullery. The dining area can accommodate six people, and the spacious lounge is furnished with a comfortable lounge set and a flat-screen TV.

Guests have access to qualified and accredited tour guides, and the property offers total privacy. Families can embark on daily self-drive safaris into the Kruger National Park or utilize the services of qualified tour guides at an additional fee. The home features a spacious outdoor area with a swimming pool, and guests are permitted to walk around the entire property for exercise or bird watching. Smoking is allowed outside only.
