Houtbosdorp

Houtbosdorp is a small, intimate holiday destination and year-round getaway located against the Magaliesberg Mountain range. It offers self-catering accommodation, allowing guests to cook their own meals or enjoy the excellent restaurants in the surrounding area.

The accommodation consists of nine wooden houses that can accommodate up to 26 guests. These houses are divided into four-sleeper and two-sleeper units, all of which are fully equipped with bedding, fridges, kettles, oil heaters, fans, crockery, and cutlery. Some units also have TVs. Each wooden house has its own braai area.

The facilities at Houtbosdorp include ablution facilities, bush showers with gas geysers, bomas, lapas, braai areas, and two splash pools. No arrivals are allowed after 6:00 PM. It is important to note that there is no on-site entertainment apart from the splash pools, so it is not a large, busy resort with numerous facilities and activities for families.

Houtbosdorp aims to provide guests with a bush veld experience, ensuring an enjoyable stay while offering comfortable accommodation, good service, a secure environment, affordable packages, and a variety of activities and local tourist attractions around the Hartebeespoort Dam area.
