Hudson Guesthouse Entabeni Knysna

The Hudson Guesthouse Entabeni Knysna is a small working farm retreat comprising 35 hectares located in the heart of Knysna. The picturesque property is situated along Welbedacht Lane, just 4.5 kilometers from the Knysna town center and waterfront. The guest house itself is located 900 meters from the entrance on a secluded plateau 90 meters above the Knysna Lagoon and River, a world heritage site.

The house has a floor area of 1168 square meters under roof and features 7 generous, en-suite bedrooms arranged around a central courtyard. The house operates entirely off-grid, relying on a solar facility with an impressive battery system and a large generator for its water and electricity needs. Each bedroom is equipped with a king-size double bed or two separate beds upon request, white cotton linens, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, fresh towels provided daily, a hairdryer, a kettle, and provisions including drinking water, coffee, tea, milk, and sugar. Additionally, each room has a workstation or desk and free access to Wi-Fi.

The guest house provides a central lounge area with DStv (satellite TV) and an honesty bar in the main lounge. Breakfast is served in the open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area of the main house, which opens onto a wrap-around patio overlooking the pond and Knysna lagoon. The best room in the guest house features a king-size bed, a sofa bed, a south-facing view of the lagoon, its own satellite TV, a wood-burning stove, a separate lounge area, an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath, and a private toilet and bidet.
