Idle & Wild

Idle & Wild is a secluded and spacious accommodation located on a working macadamia nut farm in the Sabie River Valley. The property features African thatched Rondavels, each privately set in a sub-tropical garden. The Sabie River runs through the property, offering peaceful walks along its banks.

Guests can unwind by soaking up the sun around the pool or pampering themselves in the sauna. A full English breakfast is served on the verandah of the main house, or a packed breakfast is provided for those who wish to make an early start to the Kruger National Park.

Idle & Wild is ideally situated for a rejuvenating break in the heart of nature or exploring the surrounding areas such as Kruger National Park, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Pilgrims Rest, and the many waterfalls. Various activities are available in the area, including hot air ballooning, game drives, horse riding, skyway trails, hikes, bass fishing, and cycling. The property also offers Quad Bike Trails and River Rafting on-site.

The cottage accommodates four people, with the main bedroom featuring a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has two single beds and a shower en-suite. There is an open-plan lounge with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a private veranda and braai facilities.
