Idwala View is a secluded, self-catering luxury getaway that offers an opportunity to experience amazing African wildlife in the malaria-free Mabalingwe Nature Reserve. It provides spacious rooms that open onto an expansive deck featuring a heated swimming pool, bar, and seating area. The accommodation can accommodate up to 8 adults and 4 children, making it suitable for family gatherings and large groups.

The lodge includes solar backup power during power outages and load shedding, access to Netflix, Showmax, DSTV Premium and DSTVNow, a heated pool during winter and autumn, fast uncapped WIFI, and enhanced cleaning between stays. Beautifully decorated with a distinct South African flavor, inspired by Tretchikoff and local street artists, the fully equipped house provides breathtaking views from the deck. Guests can go on game drives in their own Game Viewing Vehicle (at an additional cost of ZAR 950.00 per day) and experience the magic of an open-air boma lit by a glowing fire and the Milky Way at night. The lodge is greeted in the morning by Klipspringers, adding to the wildlife experience.

Idwala View is designed as an eco-friendly system, striving to be one of the most environmentally friendly self-catering lodges in the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve. It comfortably accommodates 10 guests, with five bedrooms (one being a loft room) and five bathrooms. The main bedroom on the top level features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, while the loft room has two single beds and a shower downstairs. The downstairs bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom, and the two outside (deck) rooms, accessible via the main deck, have king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers. Additionally, there are two roller beds and bedding available for extra children, which can be used in the deck rooms.
