Ihlozi Lodge

Ihlozi Lodge is a 5-star self-catering accommodation situated within the exclusive Kuleni Game Park, approximately 18 km away from Hluhluwe town. It provides a luxurious and tranquil bush getaway for guests seeking privacy and elegance. The lodge features an open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and lounge. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances, including a large double-door refrigerator/freezer, a five-plate gas stove, oven, and ample storage.

The main living area opens seamlessly onto a spacious deck equipped with an outdoor lounge, dining table, and braai/BBQ facilities. This exquisite setting offers guests the opportunity to witness local wildlife wandering through the bush garden. The lodge comprises four double en-suite bedrooms, with two situated on each side of the main living area. Additionally, there is a TV room for entertainment.

Ihlozi Lodge features enchanting raised walkways that meander through the garden, illuminated at night to create an atmospheric ambience. These walkways lead to a swimming pool, a second bar/lounge area, and two additional double en-suite bedrooms. All four bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers, allowing guests to shower under the awe-inspiring African stars, potentially catching glimpses of giraffes passing by.

The lodge is conveniently located within a two-hour drive from Durban and four hours from Johannesburg. It is surrounded by the Hluhluwe Reserve and the Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dedicated to animal conservation and game farms. Visitors can enjoy opportunities for Big Five viewing, birdwatching (with over 350 species), and encounters with diverse wildlife, including rhinos, giraffes, wildebeest, and various antelope species. Guided quad bike tours through the captivating bush are also available for guests.
