Ikhayalamafu Mountain Reserve is a secluded retreat situated in the Monk's Cowl Reserve of the Central Drakensberg Mountains, Champagne Valley, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The property, spanning 95 hectares, is part of the Ukhahlamba/Drakensberg World Heritage Site and offers dramatic views of Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle.

The reserve features two exclusive self-catering cabins, Ingwe and Inyoka, each accommodating two adults only. Ingwe Cabin overlooks the Little Berg, while Inyoka Cabin is nestled beside a stream in an indigenous forest. Both cabins feature open-plan designs with king-size beds, cozy fireplaces, and en-suite bathrooms with showers. The fully-equipped kitchens include gas stoves, microwaves, and covered decks with barbecue facilities. While the cabins don't have televisions, they offer Wi-Fi connectivity and secure undercover parking.

The property operates entirely off-grid, utilizing solar and hydro-generation for electricity, ensuring no disruption from load-shedding. Water is sourced from mountain streams, and waste management is handled sustainably through septic systems. Guests have exclusive access to 6 kilometers of private hiking trails throughout the property's mountains, streams, waterfalls, and indigenous forests.

The area offers numerous activities including bird-watching, horse-riding, golf, canopy tours, river-rafting, mountain-biking, and the weekly Drakensberg Boys' Choir performances. The reserve is particularly notable for its wildlife, including buck, eagles, and vultures, as well as its indigenous flora and spectacular night sky views.
