Ilanga Game & Fishing Lodge

Ilanga Game & Fishing Lodge is an exclusive retreat nestled within the Dullstroom Country Estate in Mpumalanga, South Africa. This self-catering farmhouse, perched atop a mountain, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and provides a perfect escape from urban life.

The lodge features four spacious north-facing bedrooms, each equipped with convertible king-size/twin beds, wall heaters, and hairdryers. The bedrooms offer stunning views of the mountains and trout dams, allowing guests to observe passing wildlife from their rooms. The accommodation includes two well-appointed bathrooms, one with a bath and shower combination, the other with a double shower, plus two separate toilets.

The main living areas comprise an open-plan design with an intimate lounge featuring comfortable couches and a wood-burning fireplace. A dedicated TV room offers entertainment with selected DStv channels. The well-equipped kitchen facilitates self-catering, while the patio, accessible through stack doors, provides an outdoor dining space that seats ten guests and includes a built-in braai (barbecue) area.

Located approximately 20 kilometers from central Dullstroom, the lodge offers various outdoor activities including bass and trout fishing at the nearby dams, and arranged game drives. The property also features access to a clubhouse with children's play facilities and a splash pool. Due to its location, high-rise vehicles are required for access, with 4x4 vehicles recommended during the rainy season.
