Incwala Lodge

Incwala Lodge, formerly known as Blaauwbosch Trout Inn, is a family-run and owned establishment that offers a distinct kind of hospitality unique to Mpumalanga and rooted in Swati heritage. The lodge is located in the mountains of Emgwenya, a sanctuary for birdlife, trout fishing, and ancient ruins, providing a home away from home for many guests.

Situated on a 103-hectare farm just outside Waterval Boven on the edge of the Highveld, Incwala Lodge features breathtaking views of the Elandsvalley. The establishment prides itself on its open-air spaces, enabling guests to enjoy a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city, all within a 2.5-hour drive from Johannesburg on the N4 and a 1-hour drive from Nelspruit.

Perched on a hill, the main house on the farm is ideal for traveling families, featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a lounge with a fireplace, and a timber deck with stunning views. The property also includes a BBQ facility and a private boma.
