Inglenook

Inglenook is a farmhouse built with the intention of providing total relaxation and convenience. It is situated on a working farm and surrounded by fynbos and other indigenous flora and fauna. The house features a seamless entertainment area that includes a deck, pool, fire pit, and sauna for the summer season, as well as a large communal fireplace, a fireplace in every bedroom, and underfloor heating for the winter months.

The farmhouse has five bedrooms, each equipped with a private fireplace. It also has a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and a tumble-dryer to enhance the comfort of the stay. Guests can choose to relax by the pool, read, or enjoy a long lunch amidst the peaceful beauty of nature that surrounds the property.

The architecture and decor of Inglenook may seem eclectic, but each piece is carefully chosen to create a feeling of luxury. Notable features include a twisted wooden staircase, cherub chandeliers, and Mandela prints. Natural light streams through the numerous glass doors and windows in the main living area, complemented by raw brickwork walls and smoothly stuccoed flooring.

The farmhouse offers activities such as roaring fires, midnight saunas, and the opportunity for skinny dipping surrounded by nature. It is a great family venue, although it is important to note that the pool is not fenced or covered. The house consists of five bedrooms, with four bedrooms located downstairs and a four-sleeper master bedroom upstairs. The beds are a combination of queens and singles, and three of the bedrooms are en-suite, while the remaining two bedrooms share the main bathroom.
