Innikloof

InniKloof is a self-catering accommodation located in the secluded Honey Clough Valley, approximately 12 kilometers from Hankey. The retreat offers two fully-equipped cottages, each capable of accommodating up to five people, making it an ideal destination for family holidays or groups of friends.

Both cottages are situated in a grassy clearing within the Kleinrivierkloof area. Each unit features two spacious bedrooms and a comfortable living space. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities, including a fridge, hotplate, microwave, toaster, and kettle. All necessary cutlery and crockery are provided, and a gas geyser ensures a supply of hot water. The spacious lounge area offers a relaxing space for building puzzles or enjoying a good book. Additionally, each cottage has an outdoor braai area and lapa, with wood provided for the fire. A large natural swimming hole provides a refreshing retreat from the warm sun during the summer months.

InniKloof is a non-smoking establishment, and pets are not permitted. It should be noted that there is no cellphone reception on the premises. The bush retreat is located within 65 kilometers of Port Elizabeth and Jeffreys Bay. The valley offers exceptional birdwatching opportunities and an environment of utmost peace and tranquility. Guests can observe a diverse range of birds and animals, and visit nearby towns such as Loerie, Hankey, and Patensie.

Being situated on a farm, weekends at InniKloof are typically quiet and peaceful. Couples seeking a private picnic experience can take advantage of two secluded water holes, ideal for skinny-dipping or quality time together. InniKloof is situated 11 kilometers from Hankey, which features a well-known and highly-rated 9-hole golf course.

InniKloof is an ideal family getaway destination, offering books, puzzles, games, four swimming holes, a vast lawn, and a 3.5-kilometer hiking trail. The absence of cell phone reception and television encourages quality family time around the fire or by the river. Additionally, InniKloof features a campsite located near the river, surrounded by indigenous trees and abundant birdlife, including the Knysna Loerie.
