As a premier outdoor destination, Invermooi Estate offers numerous activities for visitors. The property boasts five stocked trout dams - McNab, Malachite, Trophy, Osprey, and WildFry (a children's dam) - along with 8 kilometers of river fishing along the Little Mooi River. The estate is also home to rich wildlife, including approximately 54 mammal species such as Eland, Waterbuck, Blesbuck, Oribi, and Reedbuck, and boasts over 180 bird species.
The estate's history dates back to the late 1950s when it was purchased by Mr. Chris Saunders, who developed it into one of South Africa's finest horse stud farms. In 2014, Paul Coetzee acquired the property and transformed it into a top Angus Stud farm while maintaining its original charm and aesthetic appeal.
Additional activities available at the estate include horse riding, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and bird watching. The property also serves as a wedding and function venue, offering a Reception Hall for special events. Its proximity to Nottingham Road village provides guests with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and pubs.
