Iona @ Skye Cottage is an original labourers' cottage that was built in the 19th century and is considered a national monument. The cottage has undergone restoration and updating by the current owner, who has taken an eclectic and quirky approach to its decor to preserve its historic feel while incorporating their interests and travels. The cottage has a separate bedroom and an open-plan living area, with the front opening onto the street and a private, secluded courtyard at the back.

The cottage is self-catering and can accommodate up to three guests. It sleeps two in a double bedroom with a small en-suite shower room, and a third person can be accommodated on a sleeper couch for an additional charge.
