Its-Anners is a guest house and wedding venue situated 35 km northeast of Pretoria and 30 km from Cullinan on the KwaMhlanga/Moloto road. The establishment is part of the Leewgedacht Conservancy, bordering the Welgedacht Private Game Farm and Dinokeng, home to Kevin Richardson's lions. The property is also within walking distance of Allan Friedland's cheetah sanctuary.
The guest house is set on a 1,500-hectare private game farm and features five luxury double rooms themed after the five elements, each equipped with tea and coffee facilities, fans, down duvets, and en-suite bathrooms. The property boasts a 25-meter lap pool adjacent to a 22-meter veranda, offering game viewing opportunities. The grounds encompass 1.5 hectares of trees, lawns, and flower beds, with both open and enclosed braai areas, the latter accommodating up to 60 people.
A recent addition to the property is a Family unit comprising a double bedroom and an open sleep area with 12 bunk beds (six standard and six 2-meter length), complete with a communal kitchen, dining area, lounge, and bathroom. The main guest house features a communal lounge with comfortable couches and selected DStv programming. Breakfast is included for main guest house residents, while lunch and dinner are available by reservation.
Visitors can participate in various activities, including game viewing of the Big 5 in Dinokeng, visits to Kevin Richardson's lions and hyenas, and tours of Alan Friedland's lion and cheetah sanctuary. The Conservancy offers opportunities for walking and cycling among local fauna and flora. The venue can accommodate weddings for 60 to 80 guests, and the Air Room specifically features French romantic décor with African influences, showcasing watercolor flower paintings and pastel drawings by Maxi.
