Ivemvane

Ivemvane Mountain Lodge is a private, exclusive, fully equipped self-catering lodge offering all the comforts of home in the heart of the malaria-free Waterberg Mountains. It is situated on a mountain top with spectacular views of both sunrise and sunsets, with a view across the rim-flow swimming pool over the bushveld and mountains beyond. The lodge has three en-suite rooms, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, and an open plan lounge dining area. There is a fire pit, braai area, and a separate scullery including a dishwasher.

Located less than three hours drive from Johannesburg, Ivemvane is situated in over 1300ha of natural splendour, with mountain bike, 4x4, and hiking trails begging to be explored. The game reserve is home to a variety of wildlife, including eland, kudu, waterbuck, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, bushbuck, zebra, impala, blesbuck, duiker, warthog, and bushpig. It also has monkeys, baboons, various bird species, trees, insects, and occasional sightings of more elusive species. A road map is provided upon arrival, and guests are encouraged to explore at their leisure, with plenty of photographic opportunities in a place that time seems to have forgotten.

A 4x4 or at least a vehicle with clearance is recommended to access the lodge and the farm. Situated in the heart of the game reserve, with a map provided on arrival, the lodge serves as the perfect base from which to explore at one's leisure, either by vehicle, mountain bike, or on foot.
