Iwamanzi Game Lodge is situated in a 12,000-acre unspoiled bush reserve, which is part of a larger 12,000-acre bushveld/highveld conservancy. The lodge itself is built in a gorge overlooking the rumbling waters of the Selons River, hence the name "Iwamanzi," meaning "the place of the falling waters."

The reserve is a habitat for a diverse array of wildlife, including various antelope species such as sable, nyala, bushbuck, waterbuck, eland, kudu, impala, red hartebeest, blesbok, and steenbok. Other animal species found in the area include warthogs, zebras, giraffes, blue wildebeests, brown hyenas, hippos, rhinos, leopards, and over 250 different bird species.

The lodge features five luxury chalets that can accommodate up to 10 people sharing. Each chalet has its own private wooden deck, en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, mini-bar, and tea and coffee facilities. There is also one family room available. The lodge serves as a wedding and conference venue, with meals prepared by the chef in an Italian and South African style, complemented by a selection of good South African wines.

Iwamanzi Game Lodge offers game drives and bush walks for guests to explore the surrounding wilderness. The reserve features 12 large dams and the Selons River, stocked with various fish species such as carp, bass, golden trout, and rainbow trout, providing an opportunity for both avid anglers and newcomers. Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge, which prides itself on offering a luxurious bush experience designed for relaxation and enjoyment.
