Jagerskraal Farm is situated 3.2 kilometers from the gate on the N1. It offers five fully furnished self-catering chalets located in a valley in the Karoo, completely surrounded by mountains. The kitchens are fully equipped with fridge-freezers and gas plate stoves. All kitchen utilities, bedding, and towels are provided.
The accommodation is well-suited for individuals seeking a tranquil retreat. While driving on the 4x4 routes through the farm, guests have the opportunity to observe small game such as steenbok, duiker, and Vaal ribbok, as well as springbok, black wildebeest, ostriches, and blesbok. Under the supervision of staff and at their own risk, guests are welcome to interact with the farm animals, including chickens, ducks, pigs, and sheep. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, game drives on quad bikes or a tour on a Land Cruiser are available, but these activities are undertaken at the guests' own risk.
The farm operates on a fully self-catering basis, with braai and cooking facilities available at each house. Guests are responsible for bringing their own food and necessities. The flower season, which occurs in late August and September, offers a spectacular sight for keen photographers.
Additionally, the farm features a one-bedroom wooden cabin with a small kitchen, a dining area, and a large en-suite bathroom with a shower.
