The J.A.K Strydom Private Nature Reserve is situated on the picturesque banks of the Orange River. It is a malaria-free sanctuary that provides a serene haven for travelers seeking an unforgettable experience. The first lodge, the Bontebok 6 bedroom lodge, consists of six beautifully designed units, each accommodating up to four people. These units share bathroom facilities and cozy living areas, perfect for multi-family groups or friends who value togetherness. The lodge features a captivating communal kitchen, a refreshing pool, and stunning views of the nature reserve.

The second lodge, the Buffalo lodge, offers five tastefully decorated en-suite units, providing privacy and comfort for couples or friends. Each room is equipped with two single beds and a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy a communal kitchen, a charming living area overlooking the lush lawn, and exciting amenities such as a pool table, a dartboard, and beanbags.

The J.A.K Strydom Private Nature Reserve invites guests to explore its 1200 hectares of indigenous beauty within an exclusive malaria-free private Game Reserve. Visitors can immerse themselves in the tranquil atmosphere, picnic at one of the Riverside Lodge's picturesque spots with a lapa and braai facilities, and witness the reserve's diverse wildlife, including rare species such as buffalo, bontebok, tsessebe, njalas, gemsbuck, waterbuck, eland, zebra, and kudu, from the comfort of their veranda. Bird lovers can revel in the abundance of birdlife, while anglers can try their luck at fishing for the elusive Yellow fish.

The reserve offers a 2 bedroom unit with a private bathroom, providing access to a large communal kitchen and dining area shared with two other units. Guests can also enjoy communal facilities such as a pool, lapa, fire pit, and sun loungers.
