Jamila Game Lodge

Jamila Game Lodge is located in the northern part of the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, a malaria-free area that is home to the Big Five animals. It is situated in pristine African wilderness, surrounded by the ancient Waterberg Mountains, abundant wildlife, and unspoiled African bush. The lodge offers guests an intimate and relaxed safari experience.

The traditional safari lodge is conveniently situated approximately three hours' drive from Johannesburg, South Africa's largest city, making Welgevonden one of the most accessible premier malaria-free wilderness reserves in the country. The lodge features five well-appointed suites boasting exquisite views over the Waterberg biosphere. Guests are treated to two game drives per day, conducted by the lodge's experienced and knowledgeable nature guides.

Jamila Game Lodge accommodates a maximum of 10 guests, including children. The reserve lies within the Waterberg plateau, and the lodge is part of this conservation area, spanning over 34,850 hectares of game reserve. Home to over 50 different mammal species, including the Big Five, guests can enjoy unlimited traversing through the reserve, experiencing an environment where conservation and game viewing are managed in harmony.

The luxury bedrooms feature king-size beds, double vanities, toilets, baths, and outdoor showers. Each room has a private deck with a Jacuzzi, offering views of the waterhole and bushveld.
