Jembisa Lodge

Jembisa Lodge is situated within its own private game reserve in the heart of the beautiful Waterberg plateau, approximately three hours north of Johannesburg. It is a luxury country house safari lodge that offers delicious food, great comfort, massages, and a wide variety of game-viewing and wildlife activities.

Jembisa Lodge can be booked on an exclusive or non-exclusive use basis, allowing groups of all sizes to utilize the lodge and the reserve. Children are welcome, and they can be looked after and entertained, giving parents some time for themselves.

Guests can be as active as they wish or may choose to relax with a cooling swim in the saltwater pool after a game drive or enjoy a game of tennis following a bushwalk. The lodge has five en-suite bedrooms plus a children's bunk room. Jembisa Lodge is easily accessible from Johannesburg and Pretoria, making it the perfect bush retreat.

While a 4x4 vehicle is not necessary to navigate the roads, a vehicle with high clearance is recommended. Jembisa Lodge and its sister lodge, Magari, are ideal as romantic safari destination wedding venues, accommodating up to 45 guests across the two lodges and bush camps.

The safari adventure offering is flexible and tailor-made, with many safari activities available to suit all ages. The safari experience is timeless, with an extraordinary level of service and attention to detail. The lodge is perfectly suited for family safaris, allowing all ages to participate in safari activities. It has a special children's bunk room and a playroom located within the lodge for children to enjoy.

The lodge offers a loft-style suite with a small kitchenette. The room is beautifully appointed and has a mosquito net. Rooms have their own bathrooms with bath robes and amenities.
