Jock Safari Lodge

Jock Safari Lodge is an exclusive private concession situated within 6,000 hectares of pristine bushveld in the southern region of South Africa's Kruger National Park. Located at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers, the lodge holds exclusive riverbed traversing rights, offering exceptional Big Five game viewing opportunities in an undisturbed natural environment.

As the first private concession granted within the Kruger National Park, the lodge derives its name from the legendary Jock of the Bushveld, the canine protagonist of Sir Percy FitzPatrick's renowned tale set during South Africa's gold rush era. Visitors can explore this cultural heritage through original mementoes displayed at the Main Lodge.

The property consists of two authentic thatched lodges that blend traditional safari elegance with modern amenities. The Main Jock Lodge features 12 individual thatched rooms, while Fitzpatrick's at Jock, designed for small groups and families, offers three suites and welcomes children of all ages through its Kids on Safari programme. Fitzpatrick's Lodge can accommodate up to six adults on an exclusive-use basis, providing a private villa experience.

The lodge offers a comprehensive range of activities including daily game drives in covered 4x4 Land Cruisers led by experienced rangers, wilderness walks, and bird watching. Guests can also access the nearby Leopard Creek Golf Course with complimentary transfers provided. A Relaxation Retreat is available for guests seeking additional leisure options.
