Although the sea is within a short walking distance, the swimming pool and lapa area provide hours of entertainment and relaxation.

Fifteen kilometers south of Scottburgh, along the coast of KwaZulu-Natal, the tranquil village of Pennington is a quaint resort offering various activities such as golfing at the Umdoni Golf Course or the prestigious Selborne Golf, game and birdwatching, snorkeling, scuba diving, cycling, nature walks, and numerous other attractions. Weddings can be catered by private companies on the beautiful beaches, and wedding planners can be recommended for picturesque beach weddings. The area features two spa facilities, and the property is located in a conservancy area where buck, Impithi, and other wildlife can be spotted. The nearby Umdoni Forest offers opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife viewing.

The property features a special cottage with beautiful sea views from both the bedroom and lounge. It is situated close to the prestigious Selborne and Umdoni Golf Courses, as well as the Scottburgh and Umkomaas golf courses, and can comfortably accommodate eight golfers. The property is located in a safe, quiet residential area with an enclosed swimming pool and a large, fully enclosed garden. The beach is within walking distance and is a lovely, quiet beach with lifeguards on weekends and school holidays. It is also pet-friendly.

The one-bedroom cottage includes two single beds or a king-size bed, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, and all utensils. The unit has a dining area and a lounge with a single sleeper couch and a TV with OpenView channels. Guests can bring their own DStV decoder and card for a full bouquet at an additional cost, which must be pre-arranged. Guests are required to bring their own towels (bath and beach), dishcloths, and all toiletries, as it is a self-catering unit. The beach is within a seven-minute walk from the property, but guests must cross the R102. As the property is located in a quiet residential area, normal noise requirements apply, with quiet hours from 10:30 PM.
